All houses develop water leaks at one point or another. Water leaks cause moisture to form, leading to mold growth. Basements are more vulnerable to water leaks than any other parts of the house. A basement leak will lead to basement moisture. Waterproofing the basement and keeping your house clean will help to ensure you don’t have to deal with ANY of these types of mold.
